We received the death of Usifo Ataga with rude shock and total disappointment because the way and manner call for concerns therefore, we hereby call on the general public to respect the privacy of the family and also, allow the police to do their job accordingly.

As true of son of Edo State and a gentleman by all standards, we are deeply concern over his callous and untimely death, Usifo Ataga was a responsible man, dedicated, humble, and hard-working man, who has since overcome poverty through diligent approach and innovative in prowess, therefore, Edo State lost a great Man hence, we are deeply sad over the wicked development.

We appreciate the efforts of the Nigerian Police so far for their professionalism but we are also, bothered about the family revelation that our son (Mr. Usifo) heck was broken and marks on his wrists and rope was suspectedly to have been used to tie his hands calls for serious concern… Usifo was a brilliant young man with a strong ideology to have been killed by Chidimma is unacceptable… We call on the security to widen their scope of investigation ..they should go further.

Concerned Edo Citizens Forum supports the position of the immediate family that, the killing was a conspiracy therefore, the conspiracy must be unbundled, one side conclusion and confession of Chidimma is not enough to convince us.
Finally, we sympathize with the immediate family over the passing of Usifo as we have also concluded plans to set up a committee to pay a condolence visit and also, call on all Edo people to condemn the killing.. He was a man who loved humanity, his heartless killing is most unfortunate and pray to God to accept his soul and overlook his shortcomings accordingly.
