The Leaders Of PDP Ward 10 while announcing Their Exit From The Party Alleged their action to dump the party is predicatee on the outright disregard for their leadership by the immediate- past senator of Edo Central Senatorial Districh , Senator Clifford Ordia.

The leaders which includes, Hon. Augustine Ilenlo, Chief Matthew Emiohe, Hon. Brodrick Ituah and others said, a position of special adviser to Esan central local government council (SA) zoned to ward 10 for which the leaders unanimously agreeing on who to be appointed has been highjacked and given to another person by Sen. Clifford Ordia against the wishes of ward 10 leaders.

They said, ward 10 comprises of 3 communities namely Eguare, Ebudin and Umenlen, where by the SA position was zoned to Ebudin on the principle of fair sharing but they were surprised that without recourse to the leaders of the ward, Sen. Ordia who is from ward 6, went ahead to pick somebody from Eguare who already has the position of a serving councilor and is also the immediate past liaison officer to the Edo State governor in Esan central local govt. Barr. Idemudia Ilueminosen.

They therefore said they have decided to dump the party since Sen. Clifford Ordia whom they accuse of highjacking the party by play the role of leader in another ward outside his own.
In a reaction via telephone ,the immediate – past senator representing Edo central district ,senator clifford odia said the allegation was baseless as due process was followed in the choice of SA from the ward adding that those formenting trouble were part of the decision and wonder why they have suddenly changed their minds.He added that it was internal affairs of the paty which will soon be resolved .
The last is yet to be heard on the crisis that has engulfed the Edo Central PDP ahead of the Edo 2024 governorship election
