Ondo State Governor suspends ban on religious gatherings.
Governor Akeredolu has suspend the ban on religious gatherings in the state.
The governor disclose this in Akure the Ondo state capital while giving an update on covid-19 in the state. In the new guidelines and mode of operations, Akeredolu said churches will be allowed to operate only on Sundays, while Mosques will also be opened only on Fridays.
According to the governor, religious activities will be monitored to guarantee safety of lives as the fight against the spread of coronavirus continued.
He urged religious leaders to ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols including social distancing and hand washing to prevent the spread of the virus.
