Tinubu congratulates Fintiri, seeks Investigation of Adamawa poll controversy
The President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called the police to investigate the controversy that trailed the outcome of the April 15 Adamawa Governorship Supplementary election.
He also urged aggrieved candidates to pursue legitimate means of addressing their grievances.
The President-elect made the call on Wednesday in a congratulatory message to the winners of the last weekend’s supplementary elections in Adamawa and Kebbi States.
In the statement he personally signed, Tinubu also congratulated Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Fintiri and Kebbi Governor-elect Dr Nasir Idris for their victory at the polls on Saturday
