The 2024 edition of Miss itv Nigeria beauty pageant themed “celebrating the girl child” has been held in Benin City amidst  pomp and ceremony .
In the keenly contested event Miss Bridget Okonofua who reprented Ondo State defeated thirty five others to be crowned new mis itv queen at  about 11pm on December 1st 2024
The ceremony kicked off with an opening speech by the Managing Director  itv & radio Engr Elvis Obaseki,represented by the Executive Director Finance and Administration Lady Celerina Ojomoh, while commanding the  contestants for getting the grand finale of the event charged them to be  magnanimous in victory irrespective of whoever wins the coveted prize .Lady Ojomo alao commended  members of the special events committee itv and radio led by the Assistant General Manager programmes division Dr Sunny Duke Okosun for their efforts in putting out a spectacular show filled fun and entertainment and sued for its sustenance.She appreciated all the sponsors of the event which in no small way influenced the success of the event .In his remarks ,the chairman special events committee itv & radio Dr Sunny Duke Okosun while thanking management said the pageant which has been in existence for over two decades has continued to live up to expectations by upholding the virtues of transparency,integrity and trust ,equity and fairness as well as ensuring that eveey aspect of show promotes the sanctity of the dignity of womanhood and our cultural heritage.

A.Ozumbadaya alongside Hypeman and entertainment sensation Otunba Ororo plus South -South party cracker  Dj Amado ensured there was no dull moment as they  thrilled the guests to the maximum.

Okwunze appreciated the management of itv &Radio for the miss itv Nigeria beauty pageant platform which she says has continued to give young girls the opportunity to fulfill their potentials. She urged the incoming Queen to use the platform to impact the  community by executing pet projects that will have direct bearing on humanity.
The moment everyone has been waiting for came as the contestants performed the unity dance to set the tone for the day, rocked the stage with some mesmerizing catwalks in their casuals, traditional attires and dinner gowns.They also took turns to present their various talent on stage to demonstrate their latent capacities.
At the end of the presentations the judges on  the occasion led by the General Manager beside FM Lady Adesuwa Lato, Mr Peter Udoh of Twinsporium Entertainment Agency and Daisy Obarisiagbon of itv/radio reduced the number of the  contestants to the top eleven after comparing their online  votes garned and their performances on stage.
This number was subsequently reduced to the top five after their pet project presentations from which the top three emerged from a rigorous quiz segment.The quiz segment continued untill the new queen Bridget Okonufua miss Ondo floored other contestants by answering all her questions successfully to emerge the new miss itv Nigeria beauty queen 2024 while Stephanie Eriamiatoe miss oyo emerged first runner up and Dorcas Bernard representing Benue state emerged second runner-up
The high point of the occasion was the presentation of prizes to the winners with the new queen going home with a cheque of four hundred thousand, 1st runner up Two Hundred and fifty thousand naira while the  2nd runner up got  one hundred and fifty thousand naira. Miss Chidimma Ruth Amadin representing Enugu state
was voted as the best behaved contestant and went home with the cash prize of fifty thousand naira.
In her remarks on behalf of other contestants the new Miss Itv queen ,Bridget Okonofua expressed her gratitude to the management of itv and radio for the platform and pledged to elevate the brand to greater heights

The event featured enchanting performance by various  artists who entertained the guest with, live music performances and comedy including multiple award winner Mc  porcupine, Owarain , Neutral afemai boy Aisen  Mc ororo among others
