CO-ORDINATOR MODEN CAMPAIGN CRACK TEAM, URGES NIGERIA YOUTHS TO MAINTAIN PEACEFUL PROTESTS AGAINST HUNGER

Benin City, Nigeria – Ambassador Johnson Iyamu, coordinator Monday Okpebholo and Denis Idahosa ,MODEN, Campaign Crack Team has  called on Nigerian youths to embark on their proposed protests against hunger in a peaceful and be law-abiding manner.

Ambassador Iyamu  gave the advice in Benin City while reacting to the #ENDHUNGER and #ENDBADGOVERNMENT  planned protests by Nigeria Youths scheduled to commence on August 1st to August 10th ,2024 .

“I understand the frustration and desperation that comes with hunger, and I commend our youths for taking action,” said Ambassador Iyamu. “However, I urge them to ensure that their protests remain peaceful and do not degenerate into violence or destruction of property.”

Ambassador Iyamu noted that peaceful protests are a fundamental right, but must be exercised responsibly. “We must work together to find solutions to our challenges, rather than resorting to violence or destructive behavior.”

The Ambassador emphasized that the government and civil society organizations   must work assiduously to address the hunger crisis, and that youths have a critical role to play in shaping the solutions.

“I encourage our youths to engage constructively with stakeholders, to demand accountability and action, and to hold leaders accountable for their promises,” he said.

Ambassador Iyamu assured the youths that their voices are being heard, and that their efforts will not be in vain.

“Let us work together to build a Nigeria where everyone has access to nutritious food, and where our youths can thrive and reach their full potential,” he concluded.
