Edo State Government on the 30th of April, 2020 had declared one Mrs. Amaka Okoro and her sucking baby wanted for testing positive to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Mrs. Amaka Okoro who submitted herself and her baby to Edo Civil Society Organisations had told the leadership of EDOCSO in the presence of its legal adviser, President Aigbokhan Esq that she never tested positive against the state government accusation. She said the Edo state government accusation has caused her mental, psychological and social discomfort.

The leadership of EDOCSO had established contact with Edo state government for onward transfer even as she claimed to be very sound and hearty with her baby.

“We shall be following her case very closely to ensure the proper things are done”. EDOCSO said.
